let’s talk nails..

When it comes to my nails I don’t see the big appeal in going to a nail salon to get them done, especially the part when you have to pay out £25.00 or more just to have them done. It’s a big no thank you from me for that one. Plus I’m not the type of person who can sit there while someone messes around with my hands I get frustrated at the thought of it. I know when I do my own I can take my time and they don’t have to be rushed, I can take breaks from doing them and then go back to them. There is so much comfort in doing them yourself in the comfort of your own home. I also find it highly relaxing to do.

I own so much nail polishes I think it would be wrong to constantly pay out more to let someone else do my nails instead of doing them myself. I do like to have long nails however I am awful at growing my nails and will constantly be biting them and can’t ever seem to like them grow naturally. So I will buy some false glue on nails which can cost as little as £4.95 from Elegant Touch where you will always get two uses out of one packet. These nails always last me at least a week from when they have first been put on but that’s not to say that I will have taken them off before and week and changed them up a little. I don’t seem to be able to keep my nails on for longer than a week as I always have an urge just to change them, or I get a new idea and I just have to try it out.

I get so much inspiration on what to do with them from Pinterest if I am ever stuck for ideas. There is always something different going on with my nails and always different colours being used. I don’t think I have ever had my nails exactly the same. You have so many different options on the shapes you can have your nails, the colours you can have them and what patterns to do on them. You find that the more you start to do your nails yourself and the more that you experiment with your nails the better you become at doing them.

How do you like your nails done?

Until next time,
